AHR Returning to the Track

We are back! Andy and the AHR crew will be racing at Airport Speedway this weekend in Garden City, Kansas. With the winning purse set at $8,000, hundreds of drivers are expected to come from all corners of the country. When asked about being back in the racecar after months of being absent, Andy stated, “I am so pumped to get back in the car! It has been way too long since we have raced. We are going into this weekend with high yet realistic expectations.”

Andy will be piloting the same #77 AHR Winged Outlaw car that he ran in the 2012 Tulsa Shootout. Updates on Andy and the team will be provided here on our Andy Hogan Racing Facebook Page and on Twitter @ahr_updates.

Bad Luck Hits Hogan at Shootout

The 2012 Tulsa Shootout proved to be humbling yet very promising for Andy and the Andy Hogan Racing crew. After being absent from Mini Sprint racing for over a year and a half, Andy went in to the Tulsa Shootout with high yet realistic expectations. After strapping in the car and hitting the track a few times Andy got back in the swing of things. Proving to be very competitive in his heat races, things looked good when headed into the B-Main qualifier. Having to start 13th in the B-Main and finish 2nd in order to transfer, Andy stated, “The odds are against us, but we have a fast car and we are going to give it all we have.” After only completing half a lap, there was a wreck on the backstretch which took Andy out of contention "I just had no where to go..." Andy said. Keeping his head up Andy is confident he and the team will come back stronger and more competitive than ever in 2013.

Andy to Run Tulsa Shootout

We are very excited and fortunate to announce that Andy and the Andy Hogan Racing team will be traveling to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the 2012 Tulsa Shootout. It will be a four-day event racing from December 27th- 30th. With over 715 cars predicted to enter the shootout, it will be an event like no other.

Andy will be piloting the #18 AHR Sawyer Chassis 600 Winged Outlaw Mini Sprint. There will be our wide-open coverage through out the week and over weekend here on the fan page and on Twitter @ahr_updates! Coming close to capturing the victory here before, Andy feels as though this could be his year. We than you again for all the support and very much look forward to this weekend.
